God sometimes gives us unexpected gifts. Our gift has been a grandson who enlivens our lives and makes retirement very different than the one we anticipated. He is a special joy. And that's "Casey." In 2006 we fulfilled our dream of living in Italy for a year. It was every bit as wonderful as anticipated. This blog begins in 2005 as we prepared for that experience. Since then we have explored many places together. That's the "Travel." And finally, I am a person of opinions--spiritually, politically, on just about anything and that's the "Other Stuff." Welcome to my blog.

An Old Soap Box

Blogging lately has become a challenge as I don't have a focus--no living in Italy, no interesting travel observations, no current passion (in terms of opinions, that is,) no life upheavals--just day-to-day living which doesn't hold much excitement for me yet alone for someone else. So--it is a dry spell. Maybe things will pick up in Kenya a few months done the road.

But, then, I did see this today which perked the spirits and gave a smile. Since my great distaste for smarmy SP has not abated, this was sheer enjoyment. If TF would do more, then maybe SP would loss her appeal as she is left stripped and exposed.

Very, very funny! Loved it. Although the idea of a potential presidential run by SP is too much to bear...

Chiocciola, it just occurred to me that we don't need to worry about that eventuality. The job does not pay enough. She wants money, that is her goal and her god. Poor little girl likes to be rich.
